I.Governance (1)Nature-relatedGovernanceFramework CMPorthasestablishedathree-tierESGgovernanceframeworkcomprisingthe "decision-making, management and execution levels", with clearly defined responsibilitiesateachleveltoensureunifiedleadership,decision-making andimplementationofallsustainabilityinitiatives.Tostrengthenecosystem andbiodiversityconservationefforts,CMPortfurtherclarifiedthemanagement responsibilitiesfornature-relatedtopicsateachleveloftheESGgovernance frameworkin2025.OrganizationalStructureforNature-RelatedTopicsManagement Decision-makingLevel TheBoardofDirectorsservesasthehighestsupervisoryanddecision-makingbodyfornature-relatedtopics.Itoverseestheassessmentofimpacts,risksandopportunitiesassociatedwiththemanagementofnature-relatedtopics,integratessustainability-relatedimpacts,risksandopportunitiesintotheCompany'sdevelopmentstrategy,businessstrategy,majortransactiondecisionsandriskmanagementconsiderations,andregularlyreceivesreportsfromtheStrategyandSustainabilityCommitteeonthemanagementofnature-relatedtopicstoensurethatmanagementstrategiesareeffectivelyimplemented. The Strategy and Sustainability Committee is a specialized committeeestablished under the Board of Directors, responsible for supervising,reviewing,decidingupon,andprovidingguidanceontheCompany'smanagementstrategies,objectives,andactionplansrelatedtonature-relatedtopics.TheCommitteereviewstheannualassessmentofnature-relatedimpacts,risks,andopportunities, reports significant nature-related impacts, risks, andopportunitiestotheBoardofDirectors,andoverseestheimplementationofnature-relatedtopicsmanagement. ManagementLevel The ESG Leadership Team is responsible for organising and leading theformulationofmanagementstrategiesfornature-relatedtopics,andforguidingthe management and implementation of key topics such as ecosystems andbiodiversity.TheCompanyreviewsthedevelopmenttrendsinnature-relatedtopics, and identifies, assesses and consolidates sustainability-relatedimpacts,risksandopportunities. ExecutionLevel TheESGWorkingTeam,actingastheprimarybodyresponsibleforcoordinatinganddrivingtheimplementationofESGinitiatives,istaskedwithdefiningresponsibilities for managing nature-related issues, establishingnature-relatedmanagementobjectives,planningandexecutingwork,andensuringthatnature-relatedissuemanagementeffortsareeffectivelyimplemented.Headquartersdepartments participateintheformulationofnature-relatedmanagementobjectives, regularly assess nature-related impacts, risks andopportunities,identifysignificantimpacts,risksandopportunities,planannualroutineworkandpublicwelfareprojects,anddrivetheirimplementationbysubsidiaries. Subsidiaries,inaccordancewiththeheadquarters'planningrequirementsfornature-relatedtopicmanagement,identifyandassessnature-relatedimpacts,risksandopportunities;establishnature-relatedissuemanagementsystems;implementworkrelatedtoecosystemandbiodiversityconservation;continuouslyadvancelocalecologicalconservationinitiatives;andconsistentlyaddresstheconcernsofinternalandexternalstakeholders. (2)StakeholderEngagement ThesupportofstakeholdersiscrucialtotheCompany'ssustainabledevelopment.CMPortcontinuestopayattentiontotheexpectationsofstakeholders,includinglocal communities and residents, and has established a multi-channel,diversified communication and feedback mechanism to maintain active andeffectivecommunicationwithstakeholders.Bygainingathoroughunderstandingoftheirconcerns,viewsandsuggestions,weworktogethertobuildasustainableecosystem. The26sectorsidentifiedbyWWFBRFhavebeenderivedfromexistingstandardindustryclassifications.AssomebroaderGlobalIndustryClassificationStandard(GICS)Classification(e.g.electricitygeneration)facediversebiodiversity-relatedrisks,furthersegmentation(e.g.breakingdownintosolar/windpowergeneration;hydropower;combustion,etc.)canbetteridentifytheimpactsofdifferentsub-sectoractivities,whilstothersectorsfacingsimilarbiodiversity-relatedrisks(suchasprofessionalservices,softwareservices,etc.)donotrequiresuchbreakdownandarethereforegroupedintothesamecategory.4 ThemidstreamanddownstreamsegmentsofCMPort’svaluechainarebothclassifiedunderthe“Transport”sectorintheWWFBRFindustryclassification.Todistinguishthemmoreclearly,midstreamtransportservicesarefurtherspecifiedas“portoperations”,whilstdownstream

TherearenonationalparksorWorldDatabaseonProtectedAreas(WDPA)siteswithina2km,5kmor10kmradiusofour12subsidiariesinChina.Withina2kmradius,thereis1naturepark—theJiulongjiangEstuaryProvincialMarine8 ThedataonthedistributionofendangeredspeciesandecologicalconservationareasforCMPort’ssubsidiariesareaggregatedtotalsofthefiguresforeachsubsidiary,tobetterreflectthescaleofspeciesandecologicalconservationareasthattheCompanyshouldfocusonandprotect.DataforsubsidiarieswithinChinaaresourcedfromtheBiodiversityImpactAssessment(BIA)tool,whilstdataforoverseassubsidiariesaresourcedfromtheIntegratedBiodiversityAssessmentTool(IBAT).Asthegeographicalscopeofdataassessmentforoverseassubsidiariesthisyearislimitedtoa50kmradius,thereisasignificantdifferenceinthescaleofspeciesdistributioncompared to subsidiaries within China.
